FOOD HYGIENE, HACCP & MANUAL HANDLING TRAINING

Why do you need them?

Food Hygiene & Safety

It is essential that all food handlers are aware of their responsibility to the consumer to produce food products and food services at a level that instils consumer confidence in the safety of the food.
So why do we need food hygiene training

  1. Because it may be a legal requirement under one of the following regulations. Food safety (general Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995, depending on your business and the food you or your staff are in contact with.

  2. It may be a legal requirement that in your business, all food handlers who are in contact with high-risk foods have formal food hygiene training to at least level 1 status, within three months of their employment.

  3. Because you cannot afford for you or a member of your staff to be responsible for an outbreak of food poisoning, possibly resulting in consumer injury, the loss of custom through bad publicity, possible closure of your business or large fines.

  4. Basic & Intermediate Food Hygiene Training will promote good food hygiene and food safety, giving you and your staff the knowledge they need to identify and prevent poor food hygiene and food safety practices in the work place.

  5. Because having this training for you or your employee’s makes good sense.

Manual Handling & Risk Assessment

As well as keeping food safe we can also help you to keep your workers safe no matter what industry you are in. Poor handling of inanimate objects is the most common cause of injuries to the Lumbar area of your spine. Apart from providing training in manual handling we can also carry out risk assessments in your workplace.
